Saline Area Schools transition to high school bridge program will help students to feel more confident upon entering the high school. Students will go over support staff, admin and where to reach these people in the school and how. We will review the school handbook, rules and general changes in expectations from MS to HS. Students will know where to go for the nurse, technology concerns or to get a work permit form. Students will look into extra curriculars, and sports available as well as general organizational strategies and what SHS offers in terms of tutoring. Help your child get ready for kindergarten with confidence! Bridge K introduces students to a typical kindergarten day, including transitions, rules, routines, group time, and small group activities. Through hands-on practice with writing, cutting, and pasting, children will build important early academic skills while also developing independence and social confidence. This program is a wonderful first step into school, helping children feel comfortable, confident, and ready for kindergarten! Summer chess camp open to all levels.Beginners will learn piece movement, castling, check and checkmate, stalemate and more!
