Baking FUNdamentals
Baking FUNdamentals for Kids - Join Certified Pastry Chef and Saline High School Culinary Baking instructor, Danielle Phelps, for a week of baking FUN. We will work on developing baking skills as we concentrate on the methods used to make cookies, muffins and quick breads, cupcakes, biscuits, and yeast doughs. The bakers should wear closed-toed non-skid shoes. Please plan to bring a container for taking home your daily baked goods. Students should also bring a lunch M-Th; Friday we will make pizza dough and prepare our own pizzas. The instructor and all helpers have completed a 3 part on-line ServSafe certification module on COVID-19 food handling safety related topics. Grades 3-6 Instructor: Danielle Phelps
