Middle School Field Hockey

The Saline Middle School Field Hockey program welcomes girls in grades 7-8. Middle school field hockey is for those interested in playing in high school or who simply want to learn about this great sport in a fun, competitive team atmosphere. Players will learn technical and tactical skills, game strategy, game rules, and how to play as a cohesive unit. Practices will begin the week of Monday, August 31st. More information on a practice and game schedule will be sent out as we get closer to the season! Games are typically played on weekdays and there is one annual Saturday tournament. You have to be a Saline Area Schools student to join this team. Please note - In order to participate all players are required by MHSAA to have a current physical on file, dated after April 15th. After you sign your player up - please email your physical to Ashlee Howes @ howesa@salineschools.org.
