Beginner/Intermediate Adult Watercolor Class - Fall 2026

This ongoing class is for beginner and intermediate painters. We will learn about materials, color mixing, values and layering. If you’ve had some experience with watercolors, we explore a variety of wet and dry brush techniques through demonstrations and hands-on teaching. Subject matter includes landscapes, wildlife, flowers, etc. Material list will be provided. Paper Fee: $7 (if needed.)

**Please note that because this class occurs during the school day in a school building, a driver's license is required for sign in. 

New students are welcome to come to class from 9 am-12 pm for an hour of individualized attention before the main class begins.

1. 2 Watercolor brushes, Rounds #6 and #8, 1 Wash Brush 1” Flat
2. 1 Tray, Butcher Tray (Metal), Plastic with wells or cover, white ceramic plate.
3.Paints: Alizeren Crimson, Ultramarine Blue, Cadmium Red Med., Cadmium Yellow Med., Indigo, Burnt Sienna, Permanent Green Light, Cerulean Blue, Yellow Ochre. Recommended but not required: Thalo Green

7.Watercolor Paper- I only use Arches 140# cold press, can be purchased for $7.00 per sheet, 22’x30’
